Howard Mannella
Howard Mannella is Principal Resiliency Strategist for Expedia Inc., the world's largest online travel agency. He drives efforts in Business Continuity, Crisis Management and Emergency Response across the global organization, designing and implementing recovery strategies, conducting exercises and providing expertise and guidance to business areas on Business Resiliency issues.
Previous to Expedia, he was a senior delivery manager for a BC/DR consultancy on the East Coast, leading efforts in analysis, strategy design, implementation and maintenance. He provided leadership in incorporating rich media into high-touch high-impact Table Top Exercises. He implemented programs for clients in Banking, Pharmaceuticals, Defense/Aerospace, New Media and other industries. He has been a featured speaker at numerous conferences.
Prior to his BC/DR experience, he spent much of his career in management consulting, guiding organizations on business transformation and merger/acquisition integration. He started his career on Wall Street.
Mr. Mannella resides in the Seattle area (when not residing in airport waiting lounges and hotel rooms)
